Registration at 10.00 on The Main Beach.

To commence immediately following the Sand Building Competition on the main Beach
First to fill provided barrels with sand using children’s spades. (Teams of four people)
(a) Children 10 years and under. (b) Children 11 to 16 years (c) Adults over 16 years

Treasure Quiz – Family Event
To commence at 16.00
Competitors should gather outside The Harbourmaster’s Office at the top of the Pier
Children under 14 years MUST be accompanied by an adult (over 18)
1st - £15 2nd - £10 3rd - £4
The winner will receive the Treasure Quiz Tankard

Day Two Main Day – Saturday August 10th
Rowing and Swimming
To commence at approximately 12.00
Competitors must enter at the inshore events table (located on the main pier) 09.30 to 11.30
Conditions for Competitors Entering Events
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. Competitors enter at their own risk.
2. Competitors must not compete outside their age groups.
3. There must be at least two entries for an event or there will be no race.
4. Directions will be given to competitors before the start of each race.
6. For large entries, eliminating heats will be run.
7. All competitors must enter at the INSHORE EVENTS TABLE on the Main Pier between
09.30am – 11.30.
8. All protests to be lodged with the Regatta Committee at the INSHORE EVENTS TABLE within 10 minutes of the
end of the race in question.
9. The Committee’s decision is final.
10. Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd competitor in each race.
11. Cups and Salvers presented as First Prizes to remain the property of the Regatta Committee and must be returned by winners to the Regatta Committee before 1st July of the following year.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: ROWING AND BOARDS EVENTS
1. Competitors must be competent at rowing, kayaking, body boarding or stand up paddle boarding (as applicable) to enter an event. Kneeling on stand up paddle boards is not permitted.
2. Competitors must wear life jackets in all rowing and stand up paddle board events.
3. Competitors entering the body board races must not wear any buoyancy aids, wet suits, rash vests or life jackets.
4. Rowing boats only are allowed for the rowing events – No beach inflatables.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: SWIMMING
- Competitors must be competent swimmers to enter an event.
- No swimming or buoyancy aids of any kind are to be worn including wetsuits, rash vests or life jackets.
Inshore Sports Trophies and Medals will be presented in the Park at approximately 18.30 hours to be followed by the
President’s address and Sailing awards.

at 11.30 hours approximately.

Only Crabs caught by line or drop net will count
Briwydd Model Boat Competition.
No Entry Fee
Models to be constructed on Dolau Beach from 14.30 and then sailed.
Material provided and instructions given.
No synthetic materials to be used.
