Coming back in 2026 the Odd Job Boat Race!
Some people buy boats. Others spend weeks building an entirely unnecessary floating dragon, pirate fortress, giant rubber duck, or sea-going disco machine and attempt to race it across open water in front of thousands (maybe a slight over exaggeration) of spectators. This event is for those people. The Odd Job Boat Race celebrates imagination, engineering, teamwork, bravery, and the noble tradition of launching questionable ideas into the sea and seeing what happens. Your mission is simple: Build it. Float it. Race it. Survive it. |
