🎉 Cardigan Bay Regatta New Quay – Celebrating 149 years this year🌊⛵️
As we sail towards a truly remarkable milestone – the 150th anniversary of the Cardigan Bay Regatta – we’re filled with pride, gratitude, and excitement. For generations, this cherished seaside tradition has brought together families, sailors, swimmers, and spectators for unforgettable days
of fun on and off the water.
From thrilling boat races and beach competitions to community spirit and lifelong memories, the Regatta is more than just an event,
it’s the heart of summer in Cardigan Bay.
✨ But we need your help.
To make our 150th anniversary celebration as spectacular as it deserves to be – and to secure the Regatta’s future for the next 150 years – we’re reaching out for support. Whether you’re a local business, a past competitor, a visitor with fond memories, or simply someone who loves this corner of the coast, we’re looking for sponsors and donors – old friends and new.
Your support, big or small, helps us:
Keep events free and accessible
Upgrade safety equipment and facilities
Celebrate our rich heritage in style
Inspire the next generation of sailors and sea lovers
🌟 Want to get involved?
We’d love to hear from you! Send us a message to [email protected] to learn how you can become part of this historic celebration.
Let’s make the 150th Cardigan Bay Regatta the biggest and best yet! Thank you for being part of our journey. 💙

Thank you.
The Cardigan Bay Regatta is a three-day annual event, which organizes sailing races for all classes and shore based, swimming races and fun events for children and families. It is suitable for all the family with sandcastle building competitions on the first day.
Without the enthusiastic and keen participation of all the competitors the regatta would not continue to be a success. Thank you to the Inshore Lifeboat and the beach lifeguards who support us and help make the day a success.
Our event is run entirely by a small, dedicated band of local volunteers and all our events are funded through sponsorship, the support of local businesses plus the kind donations of the public.
This is a non-profit organization, organizing events for all ages over a three day annual event.
We would like to thank everyone for their support.
